IMSI(Intracytoplasmic Morphologically Selected Sperm Injection)
The sperms are analysed under magnification througha special microscope. This microscope providesabout 6000x magnification power.
This helps the embryologists to look for defects in sperm heads, shapes and sizes, and other abnormalities. Once selected, the sperm is injected into the egg in exactly the same way as with the standard ICSI procedure.
Who needs IMSI?
What happens at the Clinic?
Your treatment cycle is exactly the same, both before and after egg collection, as for IVF . The only difference is that our embryologists use the IMSI process in the laboratory to select the sperm most likely to fertilise your eggs using the ICSI technique.
